The Houston FTK Mural Contest

• Artist must be from Houston or the Houston vicinity.
• Artist's designs must be their own.
• Artist must be able to paint the mural or have it painted at their expense. Favor the Kind will cover paint costs. 
• Winner will receive $300 cash + $200 gift card upon completion of mural.

To enter: email your sketch or design to houston@favorthekind.com. The subject line should read Mural Contest. Here is what we are looking for:

• The design should include words: a poem, a statement, a quote or lyric. Be sure to credit the author. 
• The chosen design will be complementary to The Favor the Kind brand and our mission. Our mission is joy and kindness!
• Our brand colors are light pink, sunshine yellow, light peach, pumpkin, and grey.  We are open to other color palettes! 
• We are looking for a unique design that inspires joy, celebrates kindness, and has happy vibes. We need that now more than ever!
• The design should include the concept of a photo opportunity. Leave space for 1-2 people to be in front of it. There will be A LOT of photos taken of this wall! 
• The bench will be moved. 
• Icons and shapes we enjoy: daisies, sunshine, stars, stripes, the moon, a hand, an eye, hearts, modern shapes.
