JOYVILLE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM – Summer 2026

Calling all dreamers, doers, and future leaders—Joyville is looking for you.

Joyville, Inc. is home to three dynamic retail brands—Favor the Kind, ROAM Fine Goods, and Earnest John—each rooted in creativity, connection, and kindness. Our 12-week internship program is designed to give sharp, driven students real-world experience in the world of retail, marketing, and small business leadership.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

🗓️ Duration: 10 Weeks

💸 Pay: $16/hour

📍 Location: Dallas, TX

⏰ Commitment: 30 hours/week (including 1 weekend day a week)

Interns will rotate through three focus areas, building a solid foundation in customer experience, marketing, buying, and leadership.

🔹 Rotation 1: Buying Focus

  • Assist with building seasonal trend decks
  • Analyze sell-through data and contribute to buying strategies
  • Participate in vendor research and product selection
  • Help manage SKUs, inventory, and BTB (Bridge-to-Buyers) program

🔹 Rotation 2: Marketing Focus

  • Support content creation for social media and email
  • Learn branding and visual storytelling
  • Collaborate on website merchandising and campaign strategy
  • Contribute ideas for promos, product launches, and community engagement

🔹 Rotation 3: Final Project + Leadership Capsule

  • Choose a department focus for your capstone project
  • Present a final project that showcases your growth and skills
  • Participate in a leadership capsule with:
  • Goal-setting frameworks
  • Time management tools
  • Culture-building strategies
