About This Role

Our Crested Butte Sales Manager leads the people side of our business — the customers, the team, the styling, the selling and the ENERGY of the store. You are the head host on the sales floor. You set the tone for how we welcome people, how we take care of them and how our team works together.

Crested Butte is a special place to live, and it's a pretty incredible place to work. Our customers are a mix of locals, longtime regulars and visitors who walked in while exploring Elk Avenue and end up coming back every time they're in town.

Your job is to make Favor the Kind one of their favorite places in Crested Butte.

Lead the Sales Floor

• Create and model our 5-Star Hosted Experience every day
• Set the energy for the floor and keep the team engaged, present + having FUN
• Know the sales goal and rally the team around achieving it
• Coach selling, styling and hospitality in real time
• Help customers find things they genuinely LOVE
• Notice what's happening in the business and take action
• Celebrate wins and keep the team moving when the store gets BUSY

Lead + Grow Your Team

You aren't just managing shifts. You're helping people become really great at what they do.

• Train and develop our Crowd Pleasers + Stylists
• Give clear, kind and useful feedback
• Recognize people's gifts and help them grow
• Set expectations and hold the team accountable
• Protect our kind, safe, gossip-free culture

You love clothes. You love styling. And you REALLY love the moment someone looks in the mirror and realizes they look amazing.

• Lead our store styling program
• Help the team become confident stylists
• Know what's new and what we're excited about
• Partner with our Buyers and communicate what customers are loving, asking for + missing
• Help translate new product into stories our team can tell and outfits our customers want to wear
• Support Visual Victory and keep the sales floor inspiring, fresh + shoppable

You're a Fit If You...

You have experience leading a retail sales team, managing a customer-facing business or absolutely crushing it as a top seller.
