Luke Schroeder Crested Butte Map Print 16x20

Artistic expression has been central to Luke’s life ever since his early childhood in St. Louis, Missouri. As a child, the classroom became the playground for his doodling to emerge into an unexpected career. Luke studied advertising at the University of Missouri Journalism School. After honing his craft as a senior designer in the ad agency world, Luke moved to Crested Butte in 2020 and started his independent artist career. Luke began his Crested Butte career by making local posters, his first ever being the 44th Annual Red Lady Ball. He has since created branding, posters, and merchandise for local clients such as HCCA, Center for the Arts, and the Nordic Center.

Luke and Favor the Kind's collaboration started out of a desire to create one-of-a-kind and completely original Crested Butte art that captures the spirit of the community and supports local design.
