Penguin Random House has supported various social and environmental causes. They launched the Black Creatives Fund with We Need Diverse Books and signed the “All In” climate statement, aiming to be climate neutral by 2030. They donated £60,000 to the Book Trade Charity, 4,000 books to healthcare workers, and 100 children’s books to a Toronto daycare during the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, they donated $100,000 to the Indigenous Literacy Foundation and awarded $2.7 million in college scholarships. Since 2014, they have donated over 23.2 million books.
