ROAM Fine Goods in Lakewood is hiring a Part-Time Captain to join the team. Part-Time Captains are the top tier of our hospitality team, working the sales floor and leading the day as Manager on Duty. This role is a key spot on the team, working a minimum of 24 hours a week and available to work a minimum of 6 weekend days a month.

A successful day led by the Part-Time Captain looks like...

• The store opens on time, beautiful, and ready for guests
• The team is briefed on the day's goals, priorities, and anything they need to know
• Customers are greeted warmly the moment they walk in — every time
• The floor stays in Host Flow: tidy, stocked, styled, and staffed where it matters
• Teammates get in-the-moment coaching, support, and encouragement
• Sales goals are met because hospitality and selling are happening together, not separately
• Problems get solved with grace — returns, customer questions, team hiccups, all handled
• The store closes clean, the team leaves feeling good, and the next shift is set up to win

What we're looking for in experience

• Prior retail floor leadership experience (key holder, shift lead, MOD, assistant manager, or similar)
• Confidence opening and closing a store on your own
• Comfort coaching teammates in the moment
• Experience meeting sales goals and working a POS system
• A track record of showing up, following through, and being someone a team can count on

The Details

• Part-time role, 24-30 hours a week
• Available to work 6 weekend days per month (Sundays the shop is open noon-5)
• $22/hour once MOD-certified (brief onboarding period at Host/Concierge pay while you learn our systems)
